Dark ruby, violet reflections, delicate rim brightening. Ripe cherries, fine red forest berry confit underneath, pleasant mineral touch. Decent acidity, typical spice from the Eisenberg, with fresh herbs, the grape should set the tone, delicate tannins, nice drinking flow.
Matured in 225 litre barrique barrels. It needs time and air to reveal itself.
Drinking temperature 16-18 degrees in a Burgundy wine glass.
Excellent companion to game dishes, roasts in the whole piece and all kinds of intensely braised meat pots. Strongly herb-seasoned vegetable dishes and pasta as well as spicy cheeses.
